July 2015

Oak Ridge North, Texas – Hanna Business Park Section II, LP is thrilled to announce that Little Beakers Science Lab for Kids is hosting their Grand Opening on August 8, 2015 at Hanna Business Park Section II, 26803 Hanna Road, City of Oak Ridge North, Texas 77385. Little Beakers is a real science lab built just for kids, offering science learning and family fun for kids of all ages! Little Beakers will offer Open Lab, birthday parties, group events, parents’ nights out, camps and classes for your young, budding scientists.

John Tatum, Managing Partner of Hanna Business Park Section II, LP stated. “We are very excited to have Little Beakers join our list of family-friendly businesses in Hanna Business Park. Little Beakers is building out an amazing 4,500 sq. ft. lab in Building 5. Along with Texas Arts Dance Academy (TADA), Crossfit of Aces for Kids, and Allegiance Volleyball, Little Beakers is just the latest business to move into the park catering to children and offering fun and exciting activities.”

The Little Beakers facility at Hanna Business Park will be the second location to be opened by founders and owners, Cinttya and Trevor Morgan.  The very first facility, which opened in Cypress, Texas in the summer of 2012, has quickly grown from being a completely unknown and totally original concept with its self-guided “Open Lab” service, to a bustling enterprise consistently pulled up in internet searches as the must-see attraction in North-West Houston.  Co-owner Trevor Morgan adds, “When we first saw Hanna Business Park, we knew it would be a good fit for us and that there would be a great synergy between us and the other family-oriented businesses here.  We know that families in this area from The Woodlands all the way to Conroe and other surrounding areas are going to love this kid-friendly hands-on science lab we have created.”  Other major areas in and around Houston, and indeed the rest of the country, will soon see a Little Beakers coming to them as franchise opportunities will be on offer by year’s end.

About Hanna Business Park

Started in 2006 by the Hanna Investment Group, a limited partnership of professionals and executives, the original complex includes 4 multi-tenant and 2 single-tenant buildings. The additional 5.6 acres is contiguous to this development.

Hanna Business Park has been developed to meet the growing business demands of The Woodlands/South Montgomery County. It is located conveniently near the Hardy Toll Road and Interstate 45 within 2 miles of the The Woodlands Mall and the Exxon complex which is to be completed in 2015.

Section I retail space is occupied by a restaurant, barber shop and health studio. The spaces behind the retail section are occupied by typical warehouse operations as well as children’s sports, adult exercise and Olympic volleyball. Mixed in are residential design and oil and gas related businesses. Convenient access for 18 wheelers is also provided. Architectural features and attractive landscaping throughout the complex will be similar in Section I and Section II. For more information, visit www.hannabusinesspark.com.

About Little Beakers

Little Beakers is the brainchild of Cinttya Morgan, at a young age already a veteran of the materials chemistry and polymer engineering research fields with several truly innovative patents to her name.

Cinttya knew that she wanted to be a scientist early on. A chemistry set from her Mom at age 9 ensured this would happen. She eventually pursued a degree in El Paso, Texas where she was part of a small team that put on science shows for kids. She loved it.

Later, she moved to Houston to begin her post-graduate studies and she is now finally fulfilling a dream by using her expertise in science and combining it with what she loves most…teaching children.

That playful mindset, a thorough knowledge of chemistry, real-world experience and a love for educating children, makes Cinttya the perfect teacher…and she does it in her own unique way through Little Beakers.

Healthy Enough Foods Coming to Oak Ridge North

July 23, 2014 by ORNEDC

healthy enoughJuly 2014, Oak Ridge North, Texas – Hanna Business Park, Section II LP is pleased to announce that Healthy Enough Foods, a catering and healthy food provider has leased 2,250 square feet of warehouse space in Hanna Business Park Section II, 26803 Hanna Road, City of Oak Ridge North, Texas 77386. This is the second lease to be signed for the new 104,000 sf development that is under construction. The first 24,000 sf building and a 9,000 square foot building are completing landscaping and starting build-out on the newest leases. Healthy Enough Foods will open their doors at their new location on September 1, 2014.

Healthy Enough Foods is a catering company that specializes in corporate catering and individual or family pre-packaged foods that are high protein and low fat. Healthy Enough Foods currently caters to several Doctors’ offices in The Woodlands, Conroe and Cypress area, and exclusively to several homes in The Woodlands for family dinners, lunches and desserts.

John Tatum, Managing Partner of Hanna Business Park, Section II, LP stated. “We are very pleased to have Healthy Enough Foods as a new tenant at Hanna Business Park, Section II. One of the main reasons that Healthy Enough Foods selected the park was the fact that it is a brand warehouse space in a fast-growing location.”

Shannon Jacobs the owner and chef at Healthy Enough Foods expressed her excitement about the move, “We are excited to finally give the community an opportunity to visit our kitchen and pick up orders instead of just relying on delivery. After many requests, and much searching for the perfect location, we are really pleased with our choice in Hanna Business Park and the opportunity it provides us. We look forward to working and growing in the Oak Ridge community, and having a new, first rate location for our established clientele in The Woodlands and Conroe.”

Hanna Business Park, Section II is located on a 5.6-acre tract near the corner of Robinson Road and Hanna Road in an office/ warehouse complex. It is an exceptionally flexible facility featuring metallic buildings that provide a total of 104,000 sf of enclosed retail/office/warehouse space. The final development will consist of four 24,000 sf buildings and one 9,000 sf building. The new phase is currently leasing their available spaces.

Healthy Enough Foods was created when Devon and Shannon Jacobs, previous owners of the Smoothie Factory in The Woodlands, decided to fill a need for their customers; healthy food that tastes good. The name, Healthy Enough, was a perfect description as the food is not super lean like some other pre-packaged foods, but healthier than any fast food, and some restaurant, options. The foods are high protein, low fat with an emphasis on moderation and good decisions. Specialty items like the Tuna Pasta or Greek Pasta are made with Shannon’s homemade specialty dressings, and there is a list of wraps, sandwiches, soups, green salads and entrée items. Family Style Meals include a salad, entrée and dessert and are usually themed like Italian or Mexican, and average about $60-$80 for six to eight people.
What started out as a customer service quickly grew into a separate thriving entity; Healthy Enough Foods. For more information or to see menu items, please visit www.healthyenoughfoods.com.

Bowlero

June 17, 2014 by ORNEDC

More than just a traditional bowling center, Bowlero features a custom-designed vintage setting with a wide variety of games and activities, a full bar and full-service kitchen, catering and private event spaces.

The 45,000-square-foot center can accommodate up to 500 patrons who can pick their fun from among a variety of activities, including bowling, shuffleboard, foosball, pool, air hockey and beer pong.

Even the bowling experience itself at Bowlero is anything but ordinary, Regional Sales Representative Donna Eyler said. The facility has 40 bowling lanes, which are accompanied by 20 floor-to-ceiling video screens.

“At the end of the [bowling] lane, you have video screens showing sporting events or music videos,” she said.

The location was once a traditional bowling alley before Bowlmor CEO Thomas Shannon came up with the idea to transform it. The renovation project was completed last month. Shannon got the idea after visiting an eatery in Denver, which had a vintage feel, Eyler said.

“The owner was skiing in Denver when he went out to eat,” she said. “So he [wondered], ‘Can I bring this same look and feel to a bowling center?”

Major features built in the concept include an Airstream trailer transformed into an ice cream parlor and the tailgate of a vintage truck transformed into a bar. The designers even used special lighting to add to the ambience.

The menu at Bowlero also offers a variety of choices. Director of operations Andres Restrepo explained how different sections of the menu such as “Go Small,” “Go Big,” and “Go Sweet” highlight various items by category.

Among other items, the “Go Small” section features avocado hummus, sliders and tacos. The “Go Big” section boasts the Behemoth Burger, which is a 5-pound burger with bacon, American cheese, lettuce and tomato. “Go Sweet” offers deep-fried Twinkies and Oreos as well as four flavors of adult milkshakes made with alcohol.

Having a gathering at Bowlero is seamless, said sales manager Sharla Grayson. The catering menu offers party packages for children, teens and adults as well as a la carte. Events can be hosted throughout the facility for all ages and for corporate functions. Packages can include cake, gift cards, plates, plastic ware and other special items, she added.

“You rent a lane, you’re able to build your own party with different options from the catering menu,” she said. “We’re kind of like a one-stop shop. We take care of everything here.”
